I need a permit to padle down a river

I need to open some drawers and find something sweet in it...another news,

My ultimate goal in life is to not be dependent on anyone.

Here's a quote from Henry Rollins.

"Go without a coat when it's cold; find out what cold is. Go hungry; keep your existence lean. Wear away the fat, get down to the lean tissue and see what it's all about. The only time you define your character is when you go without. In times of hardship, you find out what you're made of and what you're capable of. If you're never tested, you'll never define your character

Aqua-fornia

Dealing with California's weather is like dealing with a bipolar person.
Last week its 70 degrees and sunny and simply perfect.
This week its 40 degrees and rain.

I took this last weekend while I was walking around campus and messing around with the Hipstamatic app.
I took this today, while I was waiting for track practice to begin.
Los Gatos All comers meet tomorrow...Imma run the 200meter race. Should be fun and cold and wet.

Road Trip.

I wonder if I could go on a road trip via Greyhound bus since I don't have a car.

hmm...another thing to add to my agenda of 'Things to do after you graduate.'

on another note, the weather in San Jose has been perfect, it makes track practices more enjoyable.

Here are some pictures I recently took:

I walk by this construction site every day when I go to track practice. On Friday, the building was finally gone. I'm glad I took at least one picture of it before it disappeared.

Here's a picture I took when I was at my friend's dorm. He has a tiny balcony in his living room and I just stood there and looked out for about 20 minutes. Just enjoying the breeze and the sun.

Air.

I hate coming up with titles for these blogs.

One of the main reasons I smoke cigarettes is because it gives me a legitimate excuse to leave or bail out of any given situation in order to just spend time alone with my thoughts.

Lucero at Santa Cruz.

What a night. I got to experience what its like to be homeless. Oh and I really like Santa Cruz.
The Opening band, Gentleman of Japan were pretty good.

Some of the songs Lucero played: That Much Further West, All Sewn Up, Drink Till We're gone, Tears Don't Matter Much, Mom, Nights Like These, Can't Feel a thing, Sounds of the City.
